Taking a break from New York pictures as, I think, I am running out of New York pictures

The photo above was taken in 2009 (been digging through my files) and it’s somewhere south of Manila. All I know is that this is the golf course of the country club that we stopped by for lunch.

A trip to New York wouldn’t be complete if you don’t cross the Brooklyn Bridge. Last November, my friend and I wanted to see a part of Brooklyn and of course take a bite of their famous pizza. After the food tasting, we head over to the bridge and crossed over to Manhattan.

Since I am a bit of a landmark junkie (and was on tourist mode), it was  fun to cross the East River on one of New York’s oldest suspension bridge.

Certain parts/segments of the bridge was under renovation, so it was a bit disappointing since we couldn’t see anything besides from the wall and the sky above.

Good thing that the middle section of the bridge was all clear, so we had a wonderful view of downtown New York and the sun was at a perfect angle for pictures.

Of course, the entire time we were walking, we were either shivering (it was a windy day), taking pictures, or taking pictures for other tourists that were also there. It’s a must-do for those who would want to see the city from another perspective/point of view, who wouldn’t mind being around with a lot of people.

Pictures taken last November during our trip to High Line that stretches from Meatpacking District to Chelsea in NYC.

The High Line is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. It runs from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District to West 34th Street, between 10th & 11th Avenues.

If you happen to be in New York and you want to stroll around, may be catch up on some reading, or lounge around, and also avoid the huge crowd, The High Line is the place to go.

The Harkness Tower at Yale University.

Taken last November during our trip to CT. I actually didn’t know the name of this particular clock tower until today. I just whipped out my Galaxy Tab and took this wonderful fall photo.
